What is I'mOnIt!?
I'mOnIt! is a task scheduling, tracking and reporting system. It can be utilized in the areas of equipment maintenance (including preventive maintenance), compliance and regulatory tasks and customer follow-up which we refer to as "third-party servicer) tasks.

It reduces equipment downtime by keeping consistent maintenance schedules. It also keeps track of costs, equipment usage and inventory parts used.

Also, you can receive alerts for any task related to corporate compliance such as safety checks, environmental tests or licensing and customer service tasks such as follow-up calls.

I'mOnIt! automatically schedules regular maintenance tasks based on settings you provide. I'mOnIt! displays these tasks in a clean simple format and allows you to email or print work orders for specific technicians.

What kind of equipment can I maintain with I'mOnIt!?
It can be used to maintain any kind of equipment such as heavy machinery, power tools, and vehicles. I'mOnIt! can be used for any equipment that needs to be on a consistent maintenance schedule. An entire facility can be maintained - grounds, elevators, alarms - again, use I'mOnIt! for anything that you want to keep on a consistent schedule.

How does I'mOnIt! track compliance tasks?
Compliance tasks are easily scheduled and tracked. The control panel will display the compliance task according to the job schedule you create. After the task is completed, the system can automatically send email alerts to anyone you want to be informed of the activity. Also, the activity is added to history and will appear on any history report.

Can I forecast future tasks?
Yes, by selecting the “Forecast Tasks” button on the control panel you can view a task list which will be due at the period ended by a selected future date.

Can I forecast future inventory usage?
Yes, by selecting the “Forecast Materials” button you can view the inventory items which will be required to complete the tasks due in the period ended by a selected future date.

Is my task history saved after the task is completed?
Yes, you can report your history from the Control Panel. All reports can be printed, saved, and/or emailed.

Can I email I’mOnIt! work orders to a technician even if they don’t have I’mOnIt!?
Yes, you can send work orders and reports through I’mOnIt! to anyone with a valid email address.

Can I import and export my inventory?
Yes, you can export inventory items to an excel spreadsheet, and import inventory items from comma delimited files which can be generated from Excel or any text editor.

Can I assign the same job to multiple pieces of equipment quickly?
Yes, by creating "Classwide Jobs", you can automatically assign jobs to multiple assets, you can also copy a job that you have previously created to any number of assets.

What kind of equipment is I’mOnIt! used for?
I’mOnIt!’s flexible system can be used for any type of equipment, such as vehicles, construction machinery, medical machinery, food production machinery, park and recreational equipment, manufacturing equipment, and much more!

How will I’mOnIt! alert me when a task is due?
I’mOnIt! alerts you when a task is due by displaying all the tasks on the control panel. The tasks are classified by a legend on the top of the screen that also appears to the left of the individual job. The green check mark denotes that tasks that are currently due.

How far ahead can I forecast tasks?
I’mOnIt! allows you to forecast tasks as far ahead as you would like, the calendar allows you to select a date as far ahead as over 100 years!

Am I eligible to receive future updates?
We typically update I'mOnIt! once per quarter. As long as you have an active support pack you are eligible to receive updates. Check support pack options here.

Can I filter the tasks that show on my task list?
Yes, you can filter your tasks on your task list by selecting the “set filter” button on the control panel. You can filter your tasks according to date, technician, event, class, and equipment and more.

Is I’mOnIt! compatible with any computer?
I’mOnIt! is compatible with vitually any Windows-based computer. Simply put, if you can run Windows XP on your computer, you should be able to run I'mOnIt! Click here to view all the system requirements.

What is the difference between a job and a task?
A job is the description of work steps to be performed. When the I’mOnIt! Control Panel indicates that it is “time to perform” a job, on a fixed asset, this instance of the Job is termed a Task.

Is I'mOnIt! only for equipment maintenance?
No way! You can use I’mOnIt! for any type of compliance scheduling, facility scheduling, customer scheduling as well as equipment maintenance. Anything task that requires reliable scheduling and tracking can be scheduled with I'mOnIt!

What is “Automated Consumption?”
“Automated Consumption” is a way to quickly update usage levels for your equipment.
Example: You have a delivery van that you drive approximatey 100 miles per day making stops. You want to schedule an oil change job for every 3,000 miles. You can set I'mOnIt! to automatically add 100 miles to the mileage level on the van every day. After 3,000 miles have elapsed (in this case 30 days), the I'mOnIt! Control Panel will display the oil change job for the van.

By using Automated Consumption you avoided having to manually enter mileage into the system.
